This research was intended to measure the income differential of the farmer\u27s incomes gained from the community candlenut forest (Hutan Kemiri Rakyat – HKR) and its conversion. The ratio of the farmer\u27s incomes per ha/year between HKR and its conversion were: temporary farming (1: 3.42); permanent farming (1:4.84); and cocoa farming (1:3.42). Specifically, this study also investigated the differential of farmer\u27s land rent incomes. The ratio of the farmer\u27s land rent per ha/year between HKR and its conversion were: temporary farming (1: 2); permanent farming (1:3.98); and kakao farming (1:2.92).
